ReceiptX – Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy

1. Service Description

ReceiptX is a novelty and entertainment tool that allows users to generate mock order confirmation emails and receipt images that resemble those sent by popular retailers.

2. Permitted Use – “Novelty & Entertainment Only”

You may only use ReceiptX for:

• Personal entertainment
• Pranks or jokes with consenting parties
• Educational or design mockup purposes
• Testing email templates or layouts

3. Strictly Prohibited Uses

You are expressly forbidden from using ReceiptX to:

• Deceive any third party into believing a transaction is genuine when it is not
• Facilitate the sale or marketing of counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized goods
• Commit or attempt any type of fraud, refund scam, or chargeback fraud
• Impersonate any retailer, brand, or legal entity
• Violate trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights of third parties

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the generated content. ReceiptX does not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for your use of the service. Any illegal or prohibited use is entirely at your own risk.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate any account, without refund, if we have reasonable belief that the service is being used for prohibited purposes (including, but not limited to, deception in commercial transactions).

6. No Guarantees of Deliverability or Authenticity

Generated emails and receipts are fictional mockups. There is no guarantee they will reach the inbox, bypass spam filters, or appear authentic to recipients. Many email providers now flag or block spoofed sender addresses.

7. Intellectual Property

All retailer logos, templates, and designs used in previews are reproduced for parody/novelty purposes only. ReceiptX claims no affiliation with any retailer referenced in the templates.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITH NO WARRANTIES.

RECEIPTX, ITS OWNERS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, LEGAL CLAIMS, OR LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR MISUSE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FRAUD CLAIMS, TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT SUITS, OR CONSUMER PROTECTION ACTIONS.

9. Reporting Obligations

If we receive credible complaints or legal demands related to content generated by your account, we will cooperate with authorities and brands, which may include disclosing your account information and usage logs.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
